Anti-Bush Leftists No Longer Care About Anti-War Protests

It had become sort of a tradition for an anti-war protesters to gather in Washington, D.C.
However, ever since Obama was elected president, the Marxists and Socialists organizers of the event have shown their true colors. Anti-War slogans were useful in their opposition to Bush.
Under Obama's regime, America is still at War in the Middle East. So, it seems the conclusion we must draw is that the the protesters were not anti-War but anti-Bush. Since they eat up the leftist policies of Obama, they also like his wars.
Last year there was a token anti-war rally in Washington. This year it seems to have fizzled to nothing.

However, there are some people true to the cause. Perhaps they unlike the hoards of others from years past truly want an end to the war and not just a war under the leadership of a far left president.

This here is the rally information.
(But, don't expect too many people!)

Here's the report from last year:

Thousands march in D.C. war protest
By Washington Post Editors

Thousands are protesting in the nation's capital on the seventh anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, carrying signs reading “Indict Bush Now” and flag-draped cardboard coffins.
Protesters gathered at Lafayette Square across from the White House and planned to march through downtown. Stops on the route include military contractor Halliburton, the Mortgage Bankers Association and The Washington Post offices.
The protest, organized by military veterans and activists Ralph Nader and Cindy Sheehan, was expected to draw smaller crowds than the tens of thousands who marched in 2006 and 2007. But organizers say momentum is building as peace protesters have become disenchanted with President Obama's decision to send more troops into Afghanistan.--Associated Press

100 People showed up.

"Our presidents seem to believe that all we have to do is go to the U.N. and we go to war," Rangel said as a large television behind him at the recruiting station showed an advertisement for the Air Force with crews loading missiles onto fighter jets.

"Going to war is not a decision that presidents should make," he added.

But note his use of "presidents" less he directly attack the wretchedly inept current president.
