Details:
Join us as we learn the beauty of the Church’s official language. The first hour and a half will be devoted to the study of Latin. The last half hour of every class will be devoted to a liturgical topic related to Latin. This class will be designed exclusively for Church Latin. All of our readings and examples will be taken from the liturgy, church writers (especially Ambrose and Augustine), and Latin hymns. Everyone is welcome to attend the Latin only, the last half hour on liturgical topics, or both. The first session on Sept. 17th will include a celebration of our contemporary rite of the Mass in Latin.
